Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Asst. Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed Al-Shatri, and the supervision of the Director of the Scientific Journal and Support Unit, the unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a training workshop titled with : ( (Publishing Local Scientific Research for Graduate Students)) on Monday, 17/2/2025, at ten o’clock in the morning, at the hall of the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Education for Women, attended by a group of graduate students, professors and faculty employees, and lectured by: Asst. Inst. Nour Anwar Najm and Asst. Inst. Laia Haider Ibrahim.
The workshop aims to find out the following:
1- Know your choice of the appropriate magazine.
2- Knowing how to write the research following the academic rules of local journals.
3- Knowledge of documenting sources using the APA system in the Word program.
4- Providing the researcher with many information to communicate with local journals.
The workshop reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1- The need for each researcher to know how to communicate with local journals.
2- The need to emphasize the most important conditions required for the purposes of publication in local journals
